Privacy policy

Dosivio is a personal medication reminder and record app, provided by Anze Sustarsic. For privacy questions, contact support@dosivio.app.

Your medicine records stay with you.

Medicines, schedules, notes, dose history and app preferences are stored locally on your device. Dosivio does not operate an account system or upload these records to a developer-operated server. The app contains no advertising, third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

Apple Watch, widgets and notifications

If you use the Watch companion, the app transfers a limited copy of your schedule and entered actions between your paired devices using Apple’s WatchConnectivity service. Widgets read a protected local snapshot shared by the app. Medicine names are hidden in notifications and widgets by default; you can enable them in Settings. Device permissions, notification previews and Apple’s system settings also affect what is visible.

Purchases

Optional Dosivio Extras is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple. Dosivio verifies Apple’s transaction information on-device to determine access. We do not receive your payment-card information. Purchase and payment data handled by Apple is subject to Apple’s privacy policy.

Backups and exports

You decide when and where to save a JSON backup or CSV export using the system file picker. These files contain your entered medicine information and history. Dosivio does not encrypt exported files; protect them and share them only with people or services you choose. If you save them to iCloud Drive or another provider, that provider’s terms and privacy practices apply. Your app data may also be included in ordinary Apple device backups.

Support and this website

If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use it to answer your request and retain it only as needed to provide support or meet applicable legal obligations. Please avoid sending medication records unless they are necessary for your request. Visiting this website sends ordinary technical request information, such as your IP address and browser information, to the hosting provider for delivery and security. The website has no advertising or analytics scripts; a local browser preference remembers your chosen website theme.

Your choices

You control your entries, notification permission, widget-name visibility, paired-device use and exported files. Removing the app removes its local app container; copies in device backups, exports or other devices must be managed separately. Contact support to request access, correction or deletion of personal information you have sent us, or to exercise other rights under applicable privacy law. We do not sell your information.
